International Nautical Competition was held between 04-09 November; 2002 with the participation of TURKEY, POLAND, U.S.A, THE NETHERLANDS, PAKISTAN, AZERBAIJAN, , ITALY, UK and TUNUSIA in four categories, namely: swimming, sailing, seamanship and naval pentathlon (lifesaving).

TURKEY WON THE CHAMPIONSHIP AT THE INTERNATIONAL NAUTICAL COMPETITION.

SWIMMING COMPETITION

Four Sportsmen from each team participated in the swimming competition held in four categories, namely: 200m medley, 100 m freestyle, 100 m breaststroke and 4x100 m freestyle relay.

SAILING COMPETITION

One participant from each team raced with “LASER” class boats in Tuzla for 60 minutes according to 2001-2004 (ISAF) regulations.

SEAMANSHIP COMPETITION

Two participants from each team competed in "Line Throwing" and "Knotting".
