5. International Nautical Competition was held between 04-10 November 2001 with the participation of TURKEY, BULGARIA, The NETHERLANDS, UNITED KINGDOM, ITALY, POLAND, and TUNUSIA in four categories, namely: swimming, sailing, seamanship and naval pentathlon.

SWIMMING COMPETITION

Four Sportsmen from each team participated in the swimming competition held in four categories, namely: 200m medley, 100 m freestyle, 100 m breaststroke and 4x100 m freestyle relay.

SAILING COMPETITION

One participant from each team raced with “LASER” class boats in Tuzla for 60 minutes according to 2001-2004 (ISAF) regulations.

Two participants from each team competed in "Line Throwing" and "Knotting".
