ABSTRACT

Investigating the mathematical model, putting forward the relationship among the data by relying on the data belonging to past, has always been subject to wonder. Multivaried Regression Analysis is the most widespread used methodology that gives the relationship among the variables. The base of this analysis is investigating the influences of other events on the event being watched while evaluating it.

Setting up the mathematical model of the relationship between the number of students who prefer Naval Academy and the variables that affect the preference, by using Multivaried Regression Analysis method and studying this model in regression analysis process, forms the subject of this investigation.

In addition, to possess a general opinion about the demographic characteristics of individuals who are still students at Naval Academy, student profile is extracted. This investigation about some of the demographic characteristics of Naval Academy students is important when it is thought to be the starting point of following investigations. In the future by making more comprehensive and detailed investigations, more reliable statistics about the students can be formed and in this way different election criterias can be developed to use while acceptance of the students. Besides, reasons and tendency of Naval Academy’s preference can be clearly defined.
